One of the reasons that the Bible has been so popular is its use of stories. Fascinating stories of heroes and villains. Stories of perfect beginnings and a great Fall. Satanic assaults on the race of man and God's response. Stories of rebellion, a flood, and a remnant saved from the flood. And, there is the story of one man, that became a nation, that disappeared, and reappeared again in one day in 1948.
Despite the epic nature of these tales, many of the stories were of common men: women, shepherds, fishermen, officials, and tax collectors, to name just a few. And we learn that Christ invites us all into the process of writing the final chapters of His story, by joining Him as "fishers of men". It is not His will that any should perish, but that all should find repentance and eternal life. He has done his part, but He calls upon us to give that story to others.
We can be a part of the cosmic war that is raging all around us. I don't think there is much time left, before the curtain closes on the Age of Man and another Age begins. The door for choosing will soon close. As Jesus said, "the night comes when no man can work." Have you done all you would like to do, before He returns? I know that I haven't.
There are many people that will never go to church, listen to a sermon, or read a Bible, but they will read an engaging book of fiction. Will you help me get this simple story of God's redemption into the hands of anyone and everyone that might need help to see their way through sin's bondage into the unspeakable joy and deliverance of knowing Christ? Would you:
Can you imagine the joy you will feel when someone approaches you in heaven and says, "I understand that you were the one that shared this book. This book is the reason I am here in heaven. Thank you!"
If this book moved you, make it your own to promote. Take just one little step to share it with others. The world is changed by little steps. By sharing Wiliford's story, you share a part of the greatest story ever told, and you become a part of that story as well.
